It’s summertime! Boys and girls like the summer. They like the summer holidays. They can play in the morning and in the afternoon. They can get up late because they do not go to school. In the summer it is hot, and the children can go to the beach. They swim and play on the beach. Sometimes there is a boat. Then the children can get into the boat and row. It’s fun to row a boat. Some boys like to fish. They sit under a tree and wait for a big fish. And some children like to fly a kite. They run fast, and the kite goes high up in the sky. Summertime is the best time of the year!
