The Armenian language is divided in two main dialects: Eastern and Western. Eastern Armenian is spoken in Armenia while Western Armenian is used mainly in Armenian Diaspora.

Some Armenian articles in Wikipedia are wrote in Eastern Armenian, as a standard language, but there are some duplicated articles and also confusion in others wrote in Western dialect, as the standard article.

The article "Armenia" in Armenian has two articles, the standard one Հայաստան and the other one Հայաստան (արեւմտահայերէն).

There are no ISO code available to the Western Armenian language, but its important to creat a Western Armenian Wikipedia in order to promote this variant and not to allow confusion and article's duplication.
